SINGLE FAMILY HOUSING ESTATE

Eight one family houses are planned on the southern side of the baroque estate of the castle Goričane. This it the area where the flat plateau, where the houses are planned, rises into the hills. On the other side there is a wonderful view of Šmarna gora and the Kamnik Alps.
These one family houses on lots of 600 m2 are set to provide as much privacy as possible. Four types of buildings have been designed in order to adjust each home to the specifics of the lot where the house is positioned. All the buildings have entrance on the north western side, living rooms and bedrooms overlooking the mountains and facing the sunny sides (east or west).
The public ground floor is planned to be constructed in stone, which gives a sense of security. The wood paneled attic with pleasantly sunlit bedrooms is designed below the diagonal ridge.
