The Plečnik Project exhibition in the Royal Museum of Fine Arts in Brussels was designed in the scope of Slovenia’s EU presidency, promoting the achievements of this prominent European architect. The layout of the exhibition incorporated a star-like structure, its form being based on the branched outline of the city of Ljubljana whose development was strongly influenced by Plečnik. Architect’s working desk was placed centrally inside this structure, while the live video recordings from different city parts marked by Plečnik’s interventions were positioned in the dark spaces of the stars branches.
The scale models of architects works along with his original plans as well as different objects were exhibited on the outside perimeter.
