HOTEL SVETA JELENA

The strict building regulations make it hard to plan a hotel on the coastal line of the Adriatic Sea. The proposal for the St. Jelena Hotel is one of the few projects which is situated next to the Mediterranean park and the main city beach. The economics of the projects were tightly connected with placing the building into a steep slope while at the same time fulfilling the capacity demanded by the client. The project proposes an adapted vertical distribution of programmes while at the same time maximizing the footprint of the building. The new hotel represents a new identity of a small harbor in Dramalj.
