ELTAS

The ELTAS facility establishes a continuation of the existing craft zone in the NE part of Šentjernej. With its design it builds a clear rounded silhouette on the northern edge and the main manipulation surface in the southern area. The building is divided into two main building volumes, the southern part is strictly functional and designed as single-height production facility for the manufacture of electronic components, with a specific interior layout. The northern longitudinal volume is designed as two-storied and emphasizes the dynamics of the street and builds on the expressiveness of the design, so it stands out due to the structure and color of facade. The business part of the company is located in this building, with offices and common areas for socializing of employees. The importance of community is very pronounced in the company, which is also translated into the design, with built-in permeability, connectivity and warmth of individual spaces. Exterior of the main building, articulations of the facades, emphasizes the dynamics and seriousness of the company, and its interior, with a thoughtful choice of shapes, materials and colors, emphasizes collaboration and coherence. The construction is entirely prefabricated, the building pursues sustainable concepts and provides natural lighting and ventilation of workplaces, with the aim of providing maximum comfort to employees.
