Glesia Gallery is designed as a showroom with a studio. A visitor sees only the front area accessible from the Prečna street. The shell of the gallery is a classical baroque vaulted space. Since the gallery serves for presentation of exhibits made of glass we have decided to use warm brown color for the walls, which consequently serves as a contrasting background; at the same time all the distracting shadows of the ceiling merge with the background.
The interior is designed in such a manner that it serves exhibition area as well a s a storage area. Thus a series of movable elements of various sizes serves as exhibition platforms for objects of different scale depending on what is presented. The elements may stand individually or be randomly constructed into groups. The interios is discrete andoffers the user to apply all the creativity and inventiveness when exhibiting a new set of objects.
